- Bachelor's degree or higher (highly preferred)
- TEFL / TESOL / CELTA certification (minimum 120 hours preferred)
- Prior experience in online ESL delivery or structured on-site teaching
Technical Specifications
Tutors must maintain a stable home teaching station capable of runing low-latency video streaming platforms without network drops.
- Modern desktop or laptop (Intel Core i5 equivalent or higher, min 8GB RAM)
- Stable broadband internet connection (min 20 Mbps, Ethernet connection required)
- Noise-canceling USB headset and external HD webcam set up in a quiet workspace
Scheduling Guidelines
To maximize bookings, teaching slots align with student peak demand hours in the Beijing time zone. Tutors manage booking availability via pre-planned calendars.
- Minimum commitment of 15 open teaching hours per week during peak periods
- Weekdays (Mon-Fri) Peak Hours: 5:00 PM β 10:00 PM (BJS Time)
- Weekends (Sat-Sun) Peak Hours: 9:00 AM β 9:00 PM (BJS Time)
